We have been hearing from some parents of our lesson kids that our equipment this year is by far much better than we have had in the past. That’s because it is! When we partnered with Burton to bring the Learn to Ride program to Maple Ski Ridge it meant that we would be replacing our old equipment with new cutting edge Burton snowboard equipment. The Burton Learn to Ride program equipment is beginner specific for our program. That means that the Learn to Ride program snowboards have a softer flex, radical sidecut and forgiving edge bevel, all of which make the likelihood of catching an edge and falling hard to the ground greatly reduced! Our new Learn to Ride program snowboarding boots are also a softer flexing boot, which allow the rider to more easily guide the board into a turn. We are so pleased to offer some new equipment this year and very happy that people have taken notice and expressed their enthusiasm about it!
